Da Vinci Learning Center is a leading provider of tutoring and supplemental education services to students of all ages and skill levels.  Specializing in supporting students with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia and other language-related weaknesses, ADD, processing deficits and spectrum-based disorders, our expertly trained staff creates customized learning plans for each individual.  Utilizing scientifically-based, research-proven programs and methodologies, short- and long-term goals are created and monitored to ensure success.  Programs are available to support students with reading, math, spelling, writing, study skills and critical thinking and more.

All of our teachers are NY State certified and have been trained in a variety of multi-sensory, Orton-Gillingham and professional methodologies.  In addition, the core staff has been thoroughly trained in developmental disabilities, brain-based learning and comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.


Our Story

Da Vinci Education and Research, LLC was formed in 2002 by co-directors Kerry Leo, MS Ed and Elaine Micali, MS Ed.  Formerly known as L & M Multisensory Instruction, the center was quickly regarded, by professionals and parents, as the premiere source for supporting individuals with dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities. 

Over the past decade the center has provided guidance and direct support to families and school districts in the Tri-state area and Northeast region.  The expert clinicians on staff all hold New York State teaching certifications in a variety of general subject and specialty areas ranging from Kindergarten to Post Secondary levels.
